Bubee App Privacy Policy

Managed By: BubeeCon

Effective Date: 2025-10-14

BubeeCon (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) recognizes the importance of your privacy when you use the Bubee application (referred to as “the App”). This Privacy Policy explains our approach to protecting your personal information, the processes involved in handling that information during your use of the App, and the options you have concerning your data. By accessing, installing, or using the Bubee App, you confirm that you have read, comprehended, and agreed to the terms specified below.

1. Your Rights Related to Personal Information

Based on the country or region where you reside (such as the European Union under the General Data Protection Regulation, California under the California Consumer Privacy Act/Consumer Privacy Rights Act, or Canada under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), you may be entitled to the following rights regarding your personal information:

· Right of Access: You have the right to request a copy of all personal information we hold about you, including details like your account information and summaries of how you’ve used the App.

· Right to Correct: You can update any personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete, for instance, changing your registered email address if it has been updated.

· Right to Delete: You may ask for the removal of your personal information. We will fulfill this request unless we are required by law to retain the data (such as for resolving unpaid subscription matters).

· Right to Restrict Processing: You have the option to request that we temporarily stop processing your personal information, such as while we investigate a disagreement related to your data.

· Right to Data Portability: You can request a copy of your personal information in a format that can be read by machines (like a CSV file) to transfer it to another service provider.

How to Exercise These Rights

To use any of the above rights, please send a request to our service email: lql01101999@163.com. To help us verify your identity, include the following information:

· Your full name as it is registered in the Bubee App.

· The email address associated with your Bubee account.

· A clear explanation of the right you wish to exercise (for example, “Request to Delete My Personal Data”).

We will review your request within 5 business days and provide a response within 30 days, or as required by the laws of your local jurisdiction.

2. Information We Gather

We collect information solely to provide, secure, and enhance your experience with the Bubee App—never for unnecessary or unannounced purposes. The data we collect is divided into the following types:

2.1 Personal Information You Voluntarily Share

This type of data is only collected when you choose to provide it to us, such as:

· When creating an account: Your full name, email address, and date of birth (to confirm that you are eligible to use the App and to manage your account effectively).

· When signing up for premium features: Payment-related details (handled by third-party payment processors—we do not store unprocessed credit card information or other raw payment data).

· When seeking support: Any additional details you provide to help resolve issues, like screenshots of App malfunctions or specific feedback about App features.

2.2 Non-Personal Data About App Usage

This data is automatically collected as you interact with the App, and it cannot be used to identify you personally:

· Engagement with features: Which tools you utilize (such as “retro filter,” “resize tool”), how frequently you use them, and how long each interaction lasts.

· Session information: The time you launch the App, the length of each session, and the actions you take (like “saved a modified image,” “shared content to a social platform”).

· Trends related to content: The type of content you edit (such as photos or videos)—it’s important to note that we never store the actual content you upload or modify.

2.3 Technical and Device-Related Data

To ensure the App works properly on various devices, we collect:

· Device characteristics: The model of your device (like Samsung Galaxy S25, iPhone 16), its manufacturer, and hardware specifications.

· Software details: The version of the operating system (such as Android 18, iOS 21), the version of the App you have installed, and the type of browser used (if you access the App through a web interface).

· Connectivity information: Your IP address (used to improve service delivery based on your region, not to track your physical location) and the type of network you use (like Wi-Fi, 4G).

3. How Your Information Is Used

Every use of your data is focused on enhancing your App experience or maintaining essential services. Specifically, we use your information for the following purposes:

3.1 Provide and Maintain the App

· Ensure the App’s core functions work properly, such as loading editing tools, saving your modifications, and synchronizing your account data across different devices.

· Address technical problems, like fixing crashes and resolving compatibility issues with specific devices.

3.2 Customize Your App Experience

· Tailor the App’s features to match your preferences, for example, showing your most frequently used filters in a “Most Used” section.

· Personalize recommendations, such as suggesting new editing tools based on how you’ve used the App in the past.

3.3 Communicate With You

· Send important updates, including alerts about your account security and mandatory App updates needed to fix security vulnerabilities.

· Share optional promotional content, like discounts on premium subscriptions and announcements about new features. You can opt out of these promotions by adjusting the “Notification Settings” in the App or replying “UNSUBSCRIBE” to promotional emails.

3.4 Analyze and Improve the App

· Identify patterns in how the App is used to refine its features, such as removing tools that are rarely used to simplify the App’s interface and improving the speed of popular filters.

· Conduct user experience testing, like gathering feedback on new designs and optimizing the App’s battery usage for mobile devices.

4. Sharing Your Information

We strictly prohibit the sale, rental, or trade of your personal information for commercial profit. We only share your data in the following controlled situations:

4.1 Trusted Third-Party Service Providers

We collaborate with vendors who help us deliver App-related services, and these partners are legally bound by contracts to protect your data:

· Cloud Storage Services: These providers securely store your account data (like your preferences and login credentials) using encryption. Examples include Microsoft Azure and Amazon S3.

· Analytics Software: These tools process non-identifiable usage data (no personal information included) to generate insights into how the App performs. We use tools like Amplitude, which is set up to respect “Do Not Track” settings.

· Payment Processing Companies: These entities handle payments for premium subscriptions, such as Square and PayPal. They process payment data and only share details about the transaction status (like “payment completed”) with us, not raw financial information.

· Customer Support Systems: These platforms manage customer inquiries, such as Zendesk. Only authorized support agents have access to your contact information and the details of your support requests.

4.2 Legal and Safety Requirements

We may disclose your information if:

· It is required by law, such as complying with a valid court order, subpoena, or request from regulatory bodies.

· It is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, like investigating fraudulent activities, preventing harm to App users, or addressing violations of our Terms of Service.

5. Securing Your Information

We implement strong security measures to protect your data, though it’s important to note that no online service can guarantee complete protection against all risks. Our security practices include:

· Encryption: All data sent between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Personal information that is stored (like email addresses) is encrypted with AES-256, a widely accepted industry standard for encryption.

· Access Controls: Only authorized members of the BubeeCon (such as developers and support supervisors) have access to personal information, and this access is limited to tasks related to their job responsibilities.

· Vulnerability Management: We conduct security scans every month and hire third-party companies to perform penetration tests annually. These measures help identify and address potential risks, such as fixing software vulnerabilities and updating security protocols.

Your Part in Maintaining Security: To further protect your data, we recommend:

· Creating a unique and complex password for your Bubee account (avoid reusing passwords from other applications).

· Enabling biometric authentication (like fingerprint recognition or face scanning) if your device supports this feature.

· Logging out of the App when using shared devices, such as public computers or family tablets.

6. Privacy Protection for Minors

The Bubee App is designed for users who are 16 years of age or older. We do not intentionally collect, use, or store personal information from individuals under the age of 17.

If we discover that we have accidentally collected personal information from a minor under 17:

1. We will immediately delete the minor’s personal information from our systems.

2. We will disable the minor’s account (if one was created) and notify the parent or legal guardian (if we have their contact information).

Parents or legal guardians who believe their child (under 16) has used the Bubee App can request the deletion of their child’s data by contacting us via the email address provided below.

7. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or technological developments. When we make updates:

· We will post the revised Policy in the Bubee App (under “Settings > Legal Information > Privacy Policy”).

· We will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page.

· For significant changes (like new methods of collecting data), we will notify you through a pop-up message in the App or an email sent to your registered address.

We encourage you to review this Policy regularly to stay informed about how we protect your privacy. If you continue to use the Bubee App after the revised Policy takes effect, this means you accept the updated terms.
